My Trip to KL (24 Feb to 26 Feb 06) Day 1 & 2.
Day 1, 24 Feb@2000 hrs. The Long Journey.
We met at Tampines Mall for our trip to KL. As only David and Darryl are driving, the group were split to 2 with a co-driver appointed on each vehicle. Wendy was to David while i am to Darryl. Other than me, Esther was in Darryl's Car at the passenger seat. The rest of the Gals, Pheophi and Huishan were all in David's Car. I could imagine he must be smiling happily with all the babes in his car. Lucky bugger and yet not so lucky! Reason being, during our last meet up point at Jurong birdpark, David had absent mindedly left his HP on his car before we drove off. On our way to the custom, me and Darryl being the car following, saw somwthing dropped from the car but we din stopped to investigate thinking that it was some rubbish thingy... Poor David, he was feeling sad for the rest of the journey....
The journey was a long 6 hrs drives. We could have gotten there within 4 hours according to Darryl if Dav
id hadn't drove so slowly (@120 km/hr slow?!?! i wonder...) By the time we reached our Hotel at Pan Pacific, it was already 4 am in the morning. After checking in, all of us felt dirty and wanted to be the first to use the bathroom, which had a bath tub. haha... after bathing, we felt hungry and decided to go for supper at the nearby coffee shop at 4.30 am. Lucky for us, there was one just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The 7-11 was 10 minutes from the Hotel. We bought our food at the coffee shop and some drinks and snacks from the 7-11 and went up to our hotel room to eat. By the time we goes to bed, it was around 5 plus. We had booked 2 bedrooms. So the Boys slept in one while the gals slept in the other room which was just next to us and was linked. We slept until 11 plus the next morning and missed our free buffet breakfast. Wahaha... Fortunately, the hotel was kind enough to let us change the coupons to the next day's dates so that the coupons would not be wasted. Whew....
Day 2, 25 Feb@1300 hrs. Shopping shopping and more shopping!!! (For the Gals anyway...)

By afternoon, we were all hungry and the gals were eager to go shopping. We decided to go for 'Ba ku teh' at the locals restaurant which Darryl recommeded. The meals was sumptuous! The retaurant had served us a big craypot of mixed pork meats 'Ba ku teh', Fritters, stewed Pig's leg, a plate of 'you chai' and rices. All these for R$140++. Slightly expensive but yummy....yum yum...!! Two thumbs up!!

After lunch, we boys starts to follows the gals around like slaves for their shoppings! It was shop, shop and shop and more shopping. Boyz... dun they ever get bored??!? Anyway, while the gals shopped, we boys were on vigilance to protect out friends and of course, primarily keeping our eyes on any young, bodilious looking malasian babes who walks pass us. Hahaha....! We stopped by a coffee shop for tea and to rest our tired feets. Afterwhich, it was again shopping, shopping and shopping!
At around, 7 plus, we went to 'china town' for dinner and for shopping at the nite market. The gals had initially wanted to order the famous Claypot rice which they claimed was very very very GOOD!!! But after David mentioned the 2 magic words - 'BIRD FLU', their face turn whites. Haha... they look so funny then... Hahaha... They wanted to cancelled the order but the Chef had already cooked the claypot dish. Reluctantly, they had no choice but to tell the chef to remove all the chickens and in the end, the gals had only plain claypot rice with 'La chang' and bits salted fishs. haha.... I had a bowl of their local's 'Ban Mein' while David and Darryl shared BBQ StingRay which we all agreed was very good and delicious! Yummy!!! By then, i was developing a bad sore throat then (from all the heaty food).
We shopped somemore at the Chinatown Nite market and drank 'Liang Teh' - Cooling tea before taking a Cab back to our hotel. By the time we reach back to our Hotel room, Wendy and Pheophi wanted to go booked the SPA and massage for the next day before going back to Singapore. While the gals were away, Me, Darryl and David decided to go dip at the Jaguzzi!! Fortunately, the pool was still opened till 11.00 pm, leaving us only 30 minutes to spare. Since there weren't anyone using the Jaguzzi and Darryl and David din brought their trunks, we all agreed to dip in the Jaguzzi in just our briefs!!! Wahaha! It was very nice and spacious in the 02 x 2 metre by 2 metre wide jaguzzi pools. We had our fun there! Funny thou Darryl kept joking about 'Brokeback Mountain'. Guess i must really go watch this Gay movie when free. heez..
We felt so relaxed and freshed after the Jaguzzi that we felt hungry again and wanted to go take supper. Unfortunately, Huishan and Pheophi and Wendy din't want to go. Eventually, Esther went with us to a place which the Cab driver recommended and drove us to and we order 'Orr Rua' (Oyster Omelette), Fried Carrot Cake, BBQ StingRay and Coconut drinks!!! Yeepee!!! Guess most good foods are sinful!!!
After which, feeling too full to go back to Hotel, we decide to stop by at the local's Club (can't recall the name of the Club) and went in for visit at R$35 each for entrance and a free drink each. The musics were loud and there was even life band performing. Overall, the place was nicely decorated and the crowds were wild! Almost like local clubs in SG. We stayed till 3 am in the morning before going back to our hotel. That it for our 2nd Day at KL.... for now. Yawning...

The Adventurers!
